Our history

About us

Cinq 58 is much more than a brand: it is a tribute to French elegance and audacity. Its name refers to the Fifth Republic, established in 1958, symbolizing renewal and a modern vision of tradition, but also the quintessence of French savoir-faire and art de vivre.

Created in 2024, the brand draws on exceptional textile expertise, inherited from a century-old company. Our exceptional fabrics, made in France in the Loire region using traditional Lyon silk techniques, are at the heart of our identity. These refined fabrics form the basis of our scarves, shawls, and squares, true works of art designed to enhance your style.

Our know-how

Our collections

  • Each Cinq 58 scarf is the result of a perfect harmony between tradition and modernity. Our exclusive fabrics, woven from noble materials such as GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified silk, reflect our commitment to excellence in craftsmanship. Our weaving workshop is certified by France Terre Textile and Frenchtex. Inspired by more than a century of history and enriched by our passion for high-end products, our creations reflect our expertise and tell a timeless French story.

Up Cycling

Our company is also committed to an eco-responsible approach, well aware of the importance that every action can have. Part of our collection is therefore developed from fabrics that have already been produced, placing Cinq 58 within a circular economy approach that aims to make use of stock surpluses. We create and give a second life to these fabrics, avoiding additional energy and resource expenditure.

We transform these fabrics, which embody the best of French craftsmanship, into unique creations in ultra-limited quantities, often just one piece, reaffirming our “eco-guided” approach.
